Southend-on-Sea seeing the biggest house price growth

House prices in 19 towns and cities have risen by more than 250 per cent since the Millennium.

Southend-on-Sea in Essex saw the sharpest rise, with average prices up 287 per cent since 2000 according to Land Registry figures.
